Samba Lustre File System Export
All Lustre file systems are accessible on your Laptops independently of the operating system you are using.
You are able to access all Lustre production file systems as:
- home
- lustre2
- lustre3
- scratch
via samba locally on your laptop.
Can I access the file systems within the AEI only?
no, within the AEI network you can just mount the file systems and benefit of a network bandwidth of 1Gb/s.
VPN is needed to access the file system from outside the Institute.
How to get access to it?
Send a request to hpc-support. I will create an account and provide more detailed instructions as:

- Samba Server
